Description

Soldering tips, also known as soldering iron tips or soldering bits, are replaceable components of a soldering iron that come into direct contact with the solder and the workpiece during the soldering process. They are responsible for transferring heat to the solder and the joint being soldered, allowing for proper melting and bonding.

Soldering tips can wear out over time due to oxidation, erosion, or buildup of solder residue. It is important to keep them clean and well-maintained to ensure efficient heat transfer and soldering quality. Additionally, when the tip becomes worn or damaged, it can be replaced with a new one, allowing the soldering iron to continue functioning effectively.
