The Nextbase front facing 222 Dash Cam records in full HD 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second (or 720p at 60 frames per second). It is aided by an improved 6 layer, f1.6, 140° wide angle lens to capture the road ahead in full detail. The Nextbase 222 also features night vision for capturing incidents at night or in low light conditions.

For finding your saved video footage quickly the Nextbase 222 camera also features a 2.5 inch LED screen, allowing you to view the details of an incident as soon as it happens giving you peace of mind along with potentially helping to de-escalate tense situations.

Power consumption is incredibly low with only the G Force sensor active, meaning the Dash Cam can use its internal battery to detect any knock or bump to your vehicle for longer a week. This is due to the Intelligent Parking Mode feature which is included with all Nextbase series 2 dashcams, offering added vehicle protection. As soon as the vehicle ignition is turned off the Nextbase 222 dash cam switches into the intelligent parking mode, switching everything off except for the g-sensor. If a bump is detected the camera will wake up and start recording.

This is why the Nextbase 122 is designed with the Click&Go PRO™ Mount, which allows the cable to be held in place while your Dash Cam simply snaps onto the frame using neodymium magnets, allowing for easy installation and removal when not in use.
