Description
A reversing camera interface, also known as a backup camera interface, is a device that allows you to connect an aftermarket backup camera to your vehicle’s existing multimedia system or aftermarket head unit. It acts as a bridge between the camera and the display unit, providing the necessary connections and functionalities.
The CVBS format is compatible exclusively with NTSC sources. The screen interface is compatible with Volvo’s 9.0″ truck monitor. For the front camera, the input will automatically switch from the reverse gear position. The display time can be adjusted within a range of 1 to 15 seconds through the OSD menu, and manual selection of the front camera input is also possible.
When the reverse gear is engaged and the grey reverse wire is connected, the interface will automatically switch to the OEM rear camera input. Guidelines such as iPAS and static lines can be accessed through the interface’s OSD menu.
