Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrical Engineer with a strong background in vehicle safety systems and Telematics Software. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with products such as DVS Solutions, Dashcams, MDVRs, and vehicle sensor solutions. You will be responsible for helping design, installing, and troubleshooting these systems for a wide range of vehicles based on our clients needs and requirements, ensuring seamless installation process for optimal performance.

**Must be located within 30 miles of the M25**

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain vehicle safety systems, including DVS Solutions, Dashcams, MDVRs, and sensor solutions.
• Design and integrate electrical components and systems for vehicle safety applications.
• Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to improve existing safety technologies and implement new solutions.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicle electrical systems, ensuring that safety systems function efficiently.
• Work with clients and fleet operators to customize and optimize vehicle safety solutions.
• Develop and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation for vehicle safety electronics.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in vehicle safety technologies and industry trends.
• Occasional Saturday and overnight working away
• Complete tasks within assigned timeframe
• Submit same day customer accepted job sheets

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with vehicle safety solutions, including DVS, Dashcams, MDVRs, and vehicle sensor systems.
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems related to safety technologies.
• Strong understanding of vehicle wiring, sensor integration, and digital video recording systems.
• Experience with CAN bus systems, OBD diagnostics, and telematics (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and installation manuals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards for automotive electrical systems.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Salary: £34,000
